Why I think we should win the million pound challenge....
I think everyone competing for the prize deserves to win. We are all winners. I would love to go to the live finale. We have been married 15 years and went on 1 trip alone. I not only feel it would be inspiring to be there, but I think it would be a great experience for us to have some time away.My husband Brian is an Epileptic, and weight loss has proven to be a huge struggle for him. He now has been going daily to the gym for 3 years now, and losing weight is a huge hurtle for him. I am using this opprotunity to help push him as a team member. Medically, weight loss for his condition has huge benifits. I also recently was informed my cholestorol is high. Plus it would be a fantasitic birthday present as my birthday is in April. We love the show, and watch it faithfully, and reguardless if we win the prize of not, we gained motivation we needed to shed some pounds :) Thanks Biggest Loser, for providing such a great motivational show.

Its harder than it looks lol

First off congrats to the wunners whomever you may be. All I can say is this was a huge eye opener to see how hard this really is. I have it in my head now I will never be small again. But I guess if you are happy with who you are it makes the difference.
As far as Brian goes, his shoulders are huge lol....I think he's gaining muscle weight...hes lost off his mid section inches wise, but gained. I guess with the side effects of weight gain with the seizure meds he takes, this will always be a huge challenge for him. I wish I would have been in the position for him and I to try out for the show.  This has been great fun, and tho I got hit with 2 deaths during it which really caught me off guard I want to thanl Biggest Loser for allowing ys the opprotunity.
Great Job everyone

Really off track :(

My grandmother passed :( , and I am so far off track now. Depression and stress lead to eating more and smoking more. I am determined to take my butt back to the gym next tuesday and lose some weight! It's been a long 3 weeks with my grandmother. Brians been such a good sport, and I really want to do this.
Brian looks great...I can really see the water loss on him....We will be posting weigh ins and current pics soon.
Good luck everyone :)

Been a hard Journey so far...

As much as I would like to say this has been "cakes", I would be lying.
Brian's doing a fantasic job.
But myself, I an struggling. Not only do I work Mid shifts daily, but I fell ill, and had to lose a week working out. I got a massive bladder infection that sent me to my knees like a baby :(.
And, last Thursday morning,, my Grandmother had a massive stroke. We have been back and forth to the hospital since. We dont know if she will come out of this.
I have often found myself grabbing "comfort"  food. Keep your fingers crossed....I will complete this journey!
I doubt we will win, so many have joined, and we never win anything anyway, but atleast we tried, and got heathier in the process!
Good luck everyone...big numbers this week!

Slow day for us

Today was a slow day for us both. Brian's down with a nasty cold, and I had to work. I pushed my water, and unfortunantly skipped lunch due to a hectic day at the store.
For dinner we had a small lean pork chop...a heaping tablespoon of stuffing, creamed corn around a table spoon, and water.
I cheated and drank a 12 fl oz of pop today. Trust me when I say it tasted like crap after being off it so long :)
Fingers crossed we actually get gym time together tommorow before work :)

Before pics

I have posted our before pics from different angles. It's kinda depressing to look at but...with alot of hard work and dedication we can do this.
I will post our weigh ins on Friday's. We will be using the gym scale. Here's to pounds lost.
