January 28 Been a hard Journey so far...As much as I would like to say this has been "cakes", I would be lying.
Brian's doing a fantasic job.
But myself, I an struggling. Not only do I work Mid shifts daily, but I fell ill, and had to lose a week working out. I got a massive bladder infection that sent me to my knees like a baby :(.
And, last Thursday morning,, my Grandmother had a massive stroke. We have been back and forth to the hospital since. We dont know if she will come out of this.
I have often found myself grabbing "comfort" food. Keep your fingers crossed....I will complete this journey!
I doubt we will win, so many have joined, and we never win anything anyway, but atleast we tried, and got heathier in the process!
Good luck everyone...big numbers this week! January 16 Slow day for usToday was a slow day for us both. Brian's down with a nasty cold, and I had to work. I pushed my water, and unfortunantly skipped lunch due to a hectic day at the store.
For dinner we had a small lean pork chop...a heaping tablespoon of stuffing, creamed corn around a table spoon, and water.
I cheated and drank a 12 fl oz of pop today. Trust me when I say it tasted like crap after being off it so long :)
Fingers crossed we actually get gym time together tommorow before work :) January 15 Before picsI have posted our before pics from different angles. It's kinda depressing to look at but...with alot of hard work and dedication we can do this.
I will post our weigh ins on Friday's. We will be using the gym scale. Here's to pounds lost. IdeasCutting out the POP!!!!
No more soda for now...I have switched to water with Lipton Green tea powder that had absoulutly nothing in it.
Brian's chugging water.
This will be tough for me as far as gym time goes...but for now I get 3 days at the gym before work. Brian goes daily.
There are plently of things I can do at home when I am not working. Another item I am commiting to kill is fast food on my lunch breaks....it's killing me. I will be bringing my own lunch for now on.
A goal I need to hit is forcing myself to eat 3 meals per day.
I am lucky if I eat 1.5 times daily.
Wish me luck. DayWell, here we are setting up our page for the Biggest Loser Million Pounds.
Here's a bit about us...
Brian and I have been married for 15 years. We have 3 children. I am a supervisor at a major retailer, and Brian is a disabled stay at home Dad.
Brian and I were both jocks in Highschool. He was a wrestler, and I was a Basketball/Softball player.
Once upon a time we were both in shape.
That was 15 years ago.
Now our goal is to lose weight together and keep it off.
